Our plastic SPEEDCOVER® covers are made from 100% virgin polyethylene (PE) FDA 'approved' material.
FDA
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is the agency of the United States federal government that, among other things, controls the quality of food in a broad sense. In addition to food products, the FDA also checks manufactured materials used for the responsible covering of food products. Definitions for proper use can be found in a series of regulations published annually under Government Regulations (CFR) 21.
BRC
Due to the fact that SPEEDCOVER® products often come into direct contact with food, we are also certified according to the BRC standard. The British Retail Consortium has drawn up standards for food suppliers such as BRC Food (for food safety) and BRC-IoP for manufacturers of food packaging materials, which also includes SPEEDCOVER®.
